Reviews Of Top-Rated RV Dehumidifiers
So you don’t know much about dehumidifier for RVs? Then you come to the right place as down below, you will find some of the finest examples available for purchase these kinds of days.
1. Pro Breeze Electric Mini Dehumidifier
- Rated for high humidity
Why This Is The Best
Powerful and portable, Pro Breeze Electric Mini Dehumidifier is the best dehumidifier for RV in terms of all-around performance. Packing a 16-ounce water tank as well as a coverage of 150 square feet, the Pro Breeze unit performs extremely well on the average recreational vehicles. Thanks to its humble profile, the dehumidifier could be placed virtually anywhere on your rig. Additionally, the lightweight nature of the dehumidifier allows you to move it around as you see fit without much difficulty.
In use, the model from Pro Breeze incorporates the latest thermo- electric cooling technology which works without requiring a compressor. Because of that, the dehumidifier is able to cut noise down to the bare minimum. That is a major plus if all you want is a small dehumidifier for RV with whisper-quiet operation. Aside from that, the dehumidifier also features an automatic shutoff function and LED light notification for water drainage so it’s quite simple to handle.
On the downside, Pro Breeze Electric Mini Dehumidifier is unable to work at temperatures below 41 degrees Fahrenheit, a considerable limitation for Rvers in cold climates. Moreover, a couple of customers also complain that the endurance of the dehumidifier often varies greatly from product to product. Some hold themselves together for years on the road while others break shortly after purchase. Last but not least, the Pro Breeze dehumidifier tends to take longer to remove excess moisture compared to its competitors.
Awesome little DeHumidifier!
Just started full time RV living, and we immediate found a condensation issue! Bought one for the back room ( 35 ft trailer with separate rooms on each end) after just a couple of days with it we bought 2 more! They are quiet, efficient and have completely eliminated the moisture problem! ( We live in the area of Oregon where it rarely is NOT raining!) Strongly recommend!!Shared by Elizabeth Brown – an RV camper
- Reasonable price
- Excellent portability
- Tank capacity is nice
- Less than ideal temperature tolerance
- Inconsistent durability between products
2. hOmeLabs Small Space Dehumidifier
- Energy-efficient adapter
- Low noise thermoelectric peltier module
- LED light indicator
Why It’s An Editor’s Choice
Capable of removing water vapor in the air within a few moments, hOmeLabs Small Space Dehumidifier is a highly regarded product. Actually, the unit from hOmeLabs receives a lot of praises from various RV dehumidifier reviews for its fast working pace. For most of the time, the dehumidifier would bring the humidity in the interior to your desired level in just a blink of an eye. Optimized for spaces up to 150 square feet, the dehumidifier should be able to match the need of many RVers nowadays.
Knowing that no one wants to deal with noisy dehumidifiers, hOmeLabs give its model a noise reduction thermoelectric peltier module. As a result, the dehumidifier makes negligible sounds in operations which creates few disturbances to the interior, especially at night. Like other products on the market these kinds of days, the dehumidifier automatically shut down so you don’t have to worry about tank overflowing. In fact, the Led light indicator on the dehumidifier shall lit up if the water tank needs to be drained.
For drawbacks, the lifespan of hOmeLabs Small Space Dehumidifier in the field fluctuates between products. Furthermore, some units seem to be already damaged on arrival as they completely fail to absorb moisture in the atmosphere. Just as importantly, the shipping service disregards instructions from the manufacturer by delivering the dehumidifier to users in awkward positions.
We are currently fulltiming in an RV and with all the rain we’ve had this summer, having something for all the moisture is a MUST! This little dehumidifier is a CHAMP. It’s a bit small for our RV (we really need something that’s for twice the size) – BUT that doesn’t negate its ability to pull moisture from the air. (Plus we hate to get something bigger as we’re only in here for a few months). Anyway, if you have an RV that you travel in, or a bathroom that needs a little extra help with pulling the dampness out of the air – this is the unit for you. Easy to use, empty, and hide away. Handy little light tells you when its full. Perfect for any of your compact needs!Shared by an RVer (My2cents)
- Straightforward operation
- Low energy consumption
- Quality control must be improved
- Mediocre delivery service
3. Frigidaire FFAD7033R1 Dehumidifier
- Pull-out water tank
- Ready-select electronic controls
- Continuous operation is possible
Why It’s An Editor’s Choice
Made specifically for heady duty dehumidifying, Frigidaire FFAD7033R1 Dehumidifier proves itself to be a fairly competent albeit expensive model. On average, the Frigidaire model could remove up to 70 pints worth of vapor in a single day, an impressive amount. Therefore, the dehumidifier is often considered as the best dehumidifier for RV available for purchase in terms of moisture removed. Being a 24-hour unit, the dehumidifier would have no trouble working around the clock to keep humidity in your recreational vehicle at a reasonable level.
About handling characteristics, the dehumidifier from Frigidaire boasts integrated handles and caster wheels which means its portability is truly superb. In most of the cases, it’s a breeze for RVers to move the unit from room to room in order to match current demands. Because the dehumidifier utilizes transparent glass ring, you only have to take a quick glance to determine the water level in the tank at times. Due to the presence of plain, no-nonsense electronic controls, you should be able to manipulate the performance of the model as you see fit.
Regarding its faults, the energy consumption of Frigidaire FFAD7033R1 Dehumidifier is noticeably higher than that of the ordinary units. Moreover, while the powerful fan of the device tackle moisture effectively and efficiently, it might get noisy now and then. The placement of the built-in sensor is barely acceptable as it often causes errors after some time in use.
This unit sits perfectly on top of the counter of our RV and the water drain outlet is coupled with a short hose to drain directly into the sink drain, making it possible to leave this unit installed and in operation all the time. Humidity is the largest single hidden environmental threat in a modern RV, where mold can grow and make a vacation turn into a hospital visit. Keeping humidity low during use and storage is imperative.Shared by D. Francis
- Intuitive setup
- Forgiving handling
- Responsive customer service
- High acquisition cost
- Minor reliability issues
4. hOmeLabs Energy Star Dehumidifier
- Energy Star certified
- Integrated wheels and handles
- Drain hose outlet
Why We Love It
Engineered to get rid of moistures without racking up the utility bill, hOmeLabs Energy Star Dehumidifier is arguably the best dehumidifier for RV energy-wise. In the span of a day, the unit from hOmeLabs could remove 30 pints worth of moisture from the atmosphere, more than enough for usual RVs. Additionally, the dehumidifier also targets bacteria in the humid air which allows it to reduce odors, allergens and so on. Built to withstand abuses in use, the model shall remain operational for a long time.
For control, the hOmeLabs product employs a straightforward interface that everyone would be able to master from the get-go. In most cases, all you have to do is to set the preferred moisture setting and let the dehumidifier runs. Once the tank is full, the unit is going to shut down automatically so overflowing is less than an issue. If you don’t have the time and patience to manually drain the tank, the dehumidifier also supports continuous draining through its drain hose outlet. In order to set that up, you need a garden hose and some Teflon tapes.
Like everything else money can buy on the market nowadays, hOmeLabs Energy Star Dehumidifier carries its own set of flaws. The auto-defrost function of the model is somewhat mediocre as it comes on and off intermittently regardless of temperatures. Also, if the plastic base of the dehumidifier is damaged, the entire unit must be replaced.
I got about 1 solid month of nonstop use prior to fall arriving and now it is on and off. Excellent performance. Coverage of the space is well within its rating for sq ft, Sound level is not bothersome as it sits behind our dining table in our RV. It seems to match our humidistat within about 3-4% for the interior of the rig vs its display. I had to set it at 50% vs 45 to get a solid 45-48% in the rig. With windows open on the cooler days it was pulling about a bucket out for the day keeping it around 50% in the rig so we really enjoyed being able to keep the windows open some for fresh air which means AC off so lower noice in the camper.Shared by Tim H
Size fits our space well, easy to wheel out and dump. The control setting for us was Continous = Off and 50% . What I did notice was that it was right for space size of the RV so I don’t get a lot of hot air running out of it during its cycle. When it was warm coming off the compressor either the AC or outside air compensated. Highly recommend for 300 sq ft RV.
- Compact and mobile
- Support continuous draining
- Informative instruction manual
- The compressor is slightly noisy
5. Eva-dry Edv-1100 Electric Petite Dehumidifier
- Plug and play design
- Renewable reservoir
- LED light indicator
Why We Love It
Portability happens to your primary criterion while shopping for dehumidifiers? Is that is so, you should give Eva-dry Edv-1100 Electric Petite Dehumidifier a look. Known as one of the lightest thermo-electric dehumidifiers, the unit from Eva-dry is the ideal camper dehumidifier for RVers that desire high mobility. You could move the model as you like without trouble thanks to its superb handling. A combination of high manufacturing standards and premium-grade materials results in a long lifespan.
In use, the Eva-dry dehumidifier operates in a quiet manner so you would be able to sleep at night. Because of the rather low energy draw of the model, you don’t have to face a hefty bill at the end of the month. The incorporation of renewable reservoir permits the dehumidifier to eliminate odors as well as fungus.
About disadvantages, Eva-dry Edv-1100 Electric Petite Dehumidifier is mostly good against average humidity levels. Since it’s a light-duty model, the Eva-dry dehumidifier might seem a bit lackluster in high humidity regions. Some users also feel that as time passes by, the noise level tends to increase.
We bought this little gem for our RV. I sat one night with my husband and read hundreds of reviews for MANY different dehumidifying products. This little beauty is perfect. We have a 31 ft travel trailer and on our first purchase we bought two, knowing we had a lot of space to cover. They work perfectly. Quiet little hum. My only issue is remembering to empty them! I honestly could not believe how much moisture we were gathering in our camper until we got these.
I just ordered two more, just to be safer. With such a large trailer, with no room for a larger unit, we are very pleased to have found these. Now I will have one in our front bedroom, one in the back bedroom, one in the bathroom and one in the kitchen. Don’t be jaded by the bad reviews on this little bad boy. It works great, and like I said I just ordered two more because of it.Shared by Nicole
- See-through water tank
- Great value for the price
- Collect moisture pretty well
- The working pace is slightly low
- Ill-suited for heavy-duty dehumidifying
6. Keystone KSTAD50B Portable Dehumidifier

- Normal, turbo and auto-defrost
Why We Love It
With the ability to remove up to 50 pints of water vapor per day from spaces as large as 3,000 square feet, Keystone KSTAD50B Portable Dehumidifier is the best dehumidifier for RV in terms of coverage. For convenience sake, the dehumidifier possesses a draining outlet in order to support continuous draining. Besides that, the presence of the auto-defrost function makes sure that the model works as usual in chilly weather.
Regarding drawbacks, Keystone KSTAD50B Portable Dehumidifier is slightly noisy in use to some users. Additionally, the water bucket proves slightly troublesome to work with as it’s unable to stand up on its own.
Great for RV Moisture Control
Put this item in my RV to eliminate moisture from weather and it works great. I no longer have any mildew growing in my RV from high humidity in my area of living. It controls moisture like it says and does it well. I am using a hose to let it drain into my sink. I put this dehumidifier on the kitchen counter and it drains to my kitchen sink so I don’t have to watch it from filling up and stopping. It runs as needed and shuts off when not needed. I am happy with this purchase for my RV moisture control vs other options of using buckets of stuff to replace and drain often.Shared by Mr. Dale A. Stagg
- Outstanding portability
- Great capacity
- No included drainage hose
- Below average customer service
7. InvisiPure Hydrowave Dehumidifier
- Auto shutoff
- Thermo-electric cooling technology
- Support continuous drainage
Why We Love It
You desire a lightweight, highly-compact dehumidifier for travel trailer? If that happens to be the case, InvisiPure Hydrowave Dehumidifier is exactly what you need. Though it looks quite modest at first glance, the unit from InvisiPure offers a coverage of 300 square feet as well as a removal rate of 1.7 pints of moisture a day. Such characteristics allow the model to match the needs and requirements of conventional RV setups. In addition to that, the dehumidifier functions without a compressor so it’s able to work quietly in most cases.
Like other modern-day units on the market, the InvisiPure product features an auto-shutoff function that ceases operation once the water tank is full. Excellent for RV/camper
I bought this to use in our 32’ travel trailer that sits at a seasonal campsite with constant power. The tank has a place to connect a 3/8” hose which I got a few ft at local hardware store and let it drain into the sink. We haven’t had any mildew issues at all this summer like we did in the past. Works great and easy to stow in a cabinet when we are there and don’t want it in the way. Fan hardly noticeable when runningShared by Amazon Customer
- Silent operation
- Efficient and quiet
- No control on humidity levels.
- Inconsistent performance
8. Hysure Quiet and Portable Dehumidifier
- Low energy consumption
- Indicator light
Why We Love It
Quiet operation, compact body and energy-efficient, Hysure Quiet and Portable Dehumidifier is considered to be the best dehumidifier for RV at its price range. Packing a 500-ml tank and a dehumidifying volume of 250 ml/day, the Hysure unit performs admirably in small-sized RVs. Aside from that, as the model employs no chemical substances in its entire construction, it’s an environmentally friendly product. The dehumidifier reaches its peak performance at 86 degrees Fahrenheit and 80% RH (short for Relative Humidity).
In use, the dehumidifier from Hysure proves to be highly adaptable; you could put it in bedrooms, bathrooms, crawl spaces,… Its modest profile let the unit fit a variety of RV settings without much difficulty. Because of the low noise nature of the model, it creates rather few disturbances to the daily life of RVers.
About its weakness, Hysure Quiet and Portable Dehumidifier seem to have an inconsistent lifespan: some products last pretty long while others fail shortly after purchase. Also, the plug is so sensitive that the dehumidifier might turn off after the lightest touches which is somewhat annoying.
Perfect for our RV!
We noticed a problem with moisture build up in our RV. Every morning I would have to wipe condensation off of the windows. We had picked up damp-rid and that didn’t seem to be of any help. After setting up the Hysure we noticed it was filling up with water. This little baby was hard at work. The plus side to using it is that we now have distilled water to recycle. I boil it before bottling it into the very tool we often use that helped create the moisture issue, that being a hand held steamer. So the Hysure not only works well, it will pay for itself in saving costs of buying distilled water. The only bad thing I have to say about it is.. I wish I had bought it sooner! Ever knock over a tub of damp-rid? Mmhmm….not pretty! I could have saved myself the disappointment and the clean up. The Hysure is compact, light weight, takes up very little counter space. We’re very pleased with our purchase.Shared by Wagner713

Effective and inexpensive dehumidifier
The EVAdry EEE-333 was called upon to remove the unbelievable amounts of moisture we were getting inside our RV, which now resides in Oregon where it is now the rainy season. We first tried one to make sure it worked, and when we were pleased with it, we bought additional ones for other closets and cabinets that were prone to collect moisture. We are quite pleased with the easy plug-in feature: When the display turns dark blue, time to plug it in, and when it is light orange, it is time to put it to work again. No having to dump water or listen to a noisy dehumidifier. We know it works, because we bought a hygrometer to measure our indoor humidity.
